It was a great privilege to be responsible for the layout of Graham Watson's final photographic book at the close of his career. As the undisputed Master Photographer of the cycling world, with a 40 year career shooting the best road racing cyclists in countries all over the globe Graham's images are simply iconic.
As with all complex projects, detailed planning and two way communication with the client are invaluable. Both to ensure Graham's images are being represented appropriately, and that the layout has a balance of consistency along with flexibility to adapt to varying styles and numbers of photographic images.
